What Formats Does Awcast Host?
Awcast currently hosts Live Webasting Solutions for Windows Media with Flash coming soon.
What Do We Mean By “# OF VIEWERS”?
This is the maximum number of viewers that can simultaneously view your live broadcast. This number is based on the package you select to purchase.
Bitrate & Definition
Bitrate can be describe as the quality of an audio or video file. The maximum bitrate is 500k.
Trial Account
Try the AWcast Live Webcast Hosting Service for one week. Once your 7 day trial is over, your account will automatically activate so there is no downtime and no need to contact us.
Setup Process
After you receive your welcome letter follow the step by step instructions on the Setup Process page to begin broadcasting your event .
Embed Code | Direct Link | Statistics
Embed code will be included in the welcome email after you sign up. This will include a player that will load on the page. There will also be a direct link to the Live Broadcast and your Analytics or Media Reports. The direct link to the Live Broadcast can be used to create your own player or to use a 3rd party player.
Overage Charges
There are No Overage Charges. Our packages are based on a specific number of viewers accessing your event. If you require an increase in the number of simultaneous viewers, simply sign-up for a larger package. Once you upgrade and are up and running you are then ready to cancel the old account.
Billing Procedure
All billing is through PayPal and is recurring each month. Billing will continue until service is cancelled via email notification from client. Excluding yearly contracts, service can be cancelled at anytime. There are no partial refunds if service is cancelled in the middle of an already billed period.
Canceling Service
To cancel service simply send an email to contact@awcast.com with your Full Name and Username requesting to cancel account and we will deactivate your account immediately. Once deactivation has occurred we will notify you via email.
